Tina Tin is an environmental consultant. Her research interests are in wilderness perceptions and protection, and, in particular, the Antarctic wilderness. Living at the foothills of the French Alps, she is a member of IUCN France’s Wilderness Working Group. Having Chinese roots, she is conducting research on perceptions of wilderness in Chinese culture. She is a member of the Wildland Research Institute in the UK, and an international collaborator of the Aldo Leopold Wilderness Research Institute in the US.
