[004] 9. Mai [1908]. Nun habe ich mein Pustervig Exil angetreten. Etwas „einsam“ ist es hier doch, und zumal da heute Nebel herrscht, kann man eigentlich nichts rechtes anfangen. Ich habe mir nun eine „Tagesordnung“ entworfen, um in einen bestimmten Gang mit der Lebensweise zu kommen. Den Gedanken, prinzipiell am Tage zu schlafen und nachts aufzusein habe ich aufgegeben. Das starke Sonnenlicht am Tage, und die Strahlungsweisen regen mehr zu Tätigkeit an als die Nacht. Ich habe mir zwar 3 oder 4 Touren vorgenommen, die so
[004] 9 May [1908]. I have now begun my Pustervig exile. It is indeed a little “lonely” here, and since there is heavy cloud cover today, one cannot really achieve anything substantial. I have produced a “daily plan” for myself in order to gain a certain routine within this lifestyle. I have abandoned the idea of sleeping during the day and remaining awake during the night.
