Looking at the decision-making processes involved in developing the Sino-Singaporean Tianjin Eco-city, she shows how implementing green infrastructures to fulfil sustainability goals often obscures the simmering tensions between the many stakeholders involved, all with different—often conflicting—mandates and interests.
