Chakrabarty responds to the contributors of this volume by addressing five issues he considers fundamental to discussions on climate change. He addresses the biogeological aspects of climate change, the Anthropocene and the inequities of capitalism, politics in and of the Anthropocene, species thinking, and the narratives that currently exist.
