International Consortium of Environmental History Organizations (ICEHO) (website). http://www.iceho.org.
The aim of [ICEHO] is to foster international communication among environmental history organizations. Specific goals include sharing information, learning from the successes and failures of others, and discussing common issues, concerns, and challenges. (Text from ICEHO)
ICEHO is an international consortium of organizations intersecting the boundaries between history and environment. Being responsible for several programs, ICEHO works to promote open access and public outreach in the field of environmental history. One of the consortium’s major tasks is to execute the World Congress of Environmental History—a quinquennial event where scholars from all across the globe gather to discuss various issues. Membership is possible for any organization interested in the historicity of human-environment interaction. Individual scholars may join the ICEHOUSE Society.
