Die letzten beiden Tage haben 6° Nachtfrost und starkes Neueis gebracht, so daß die Hunde darauf herumlaufen und nur das Motorboot noch nicht imstande ist, sich Bahn zu brechen. Sollten wir jetzt schon einfrieren? Wir haben einen ganzen Monat bis zu dem Zeitpunkt, wo wir im vorigen Jahre die Schifffahrt einstellen mussten. Wir haben in diesem Jahre kaum Gelegenheit gehabt, zu entwischen. Wie soll es so im nächsten werden? Aller Wahrscheinlichkeit nach wird doch diese Entwicklung, die 3 Jahre hindurch stetig in demselben Sinne fortschritt, noch weiter fortsetzen und dann kommen wir nicht los.
