The Environment & Society Portal aims to build a strong online community, and to involve both academics and the general public in shaping portal content.

In the coming months we will be implementing new features that facilitate and encourage feedback, interaction, and dissemination of information. The feedback button is the first step in this endeavor, together with a clear content use and reuse policy.

Future possible tools that we envision include the means to create and share collections of material, automated references, full embedding of our content in the social media environment, and even the possibility to create mash-ups together with content of selected partner websites.
